Goobaal Online is an online business directory enabling Somali-based women-owned businesses to reach users looking for specific products or services offered by the businesses.

Goobaal Online is designed to enable businesses to advertise their products and services better online. A business would post a description of their services, their location, and contact information. By listing on Goobaal Online, a business makes its discoverability online easier. Additionally, users can leave reviews of the quality of service they received, making it easier for potential customers to choose to purchase from a business.

We have made the sign-up process as simple as possible. All a business needs to do is for a company appointed individual to create a profile on Goobaal. With this profile, they can now be able to create a business listing by filling a business listing form available under the “submit listing” button at the top righthand side of the directory.

Go to the home page, on the top right-hand corner click on Submit your listing button and follow the instructions and/or prompts.

To login to your membership, visit www.goobaal.soand click the Sign In button in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Click Sign In button, enter your email address and password.

If you have trouble getting signed in, we are here for you and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please use the guidelines below

I can’t login because:

• I forgot my password or email address
• Go back to homepage and click on sign button, there’s an option “I forgot my password”, Click on it and follow the instructions. If you don’t receive a password recovery email from us within 5 to 10 minutes, please check your spam folder.
• Wrong email address, If you can't remember both your email address and your password, please submit a request using our Contact Us page

Yes! Unlike most directory options, Goobaal Online has a no-strings-attached policy. We are confident of the value we provide to the business owners and that’s why we don’t lock you into a contract. There are no fees associated with signing up with Goobaal Online and all services and features are offered on a freemium basis unless where otherwise specifically stated.

If for one reason or the other, you no longer want your business to be listed on Goobaal Online, you have the option of deactivating your account from the dashboard. If the account remains deactivated for a period of 3 months, the Goobaal Online Administrator will delete the account from the Goobaal Online database. If you are unable to deactivate your account, please drop us an email at support@goobaalonline.so and let us know why you want your account deactivated and/or deleted as the case may be. Support will then proceed to action your request within 72 hours.

Despite being reliant on word-of-mouth or traditional advertising, having your business listed on Goobaal Online expands the reach of your marketing efforts allowing you to reach audiences that traditional advertising cannot provide. All this is done for free saving you on costs that would have otherwise have been spent on advertising. Additionally, Goobaal Online provides you with comprehensive analytics tools that give you insights into the performance of your listings.

The business rating provides an overview to potential customers looking for services your business provides on the quality of service they are likely to receive. A good rating creates a positive impression on a potential customer making it likely for them to purchase from you or recommend your services and vice versa.

Service providers are rated after a member or other consumers submit feedback. Providers can't change their rating on the list and they aren't allowed to review themselves. Only Goobaal Online consumers, through their reviews, have the power to change a company's overall rating.

We welcome online comments and interaction on the Goobaal Online platform and encourage the discussions that take place. However, comments and questions are not subject to the same verification process as our member reviews. Ideas expressed in the comments are those of the original author and do not reflect the views of the Goobaal Online directory.

We highly recommend that you don’t leave personal informational such as phone number or email address while commenting or writing a review. Please note only your names will be displayed and visible to the public once you write a review.

Please be specific on the subject matter as you write a review or any comments. It is against Goobaal Online’s policies to solicit or post any information and/or reviews about specific business or service providers. In such an event, such posts and/or reviews will be expunged from the Goobaal Online directory.

Please be kind and respectful when leaving your reviews and any comments. You are prohibited from posting any review that’s hateful, abusive, offensive, vulgar, defamatory, and invasive of another service provider’s proprietary rights or privacy. Any reviews violating these rules will be removed.

Any violation of this Online Comments Policy may result in the revocation of your future access to Goobaal directory.

Goobaal Online allows you to search for businesses based on their name, location, or service category. If you are looking for a particular business and are not able to find it, ensure that you have entered the correct name on the search bar and have set the correct location. It is important to note that Goobaal Online continues to add more businesses to the platform and it is possible the business you a looking for is not a member at this particular point in time.

One of the features on Goobaal Online is enabling businesses to add map location of their businesses when they are signing up. This is achieved by inputting the exact GPS coordinates of the business. The general public therefore able to able to know with certainty the exact location of the business by exploring its business profile.

Goobaal Online allows businesses to add social media link to their profiles. These include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter. You can be able to access the social media pages by navigating to a business listing and clicking on the social media links to the social media platform you are interested in. Based on business needs, and the unique online ecosystem in Somali, Goobaal Online may add or remove these social media links based on feedback from business listed on Goobaal Online.

Businesses can add phone numbers to their business profile on Goobaal Online. Navigate to the listing of the business you are looking to contact and you should find their phone number under Contact Info on the right-hand side of the screen.

You can be able to access the business’ images catalogue, the description of the business, the products and services they offer, their contact information, working hours, social media links, and the map location of the business.
